  • Discussion of the Framework Plan Mission Statement and proposals for increasing membership and interest in the park.

  • Jack Guthman, attorney for the Chicago Park District, will give a presentation on the soccer field at North Avenue.  He is preparing to file an application on behalf of the CPD under the Lakefront Protection Ordinance.
  • Adam Schwerner, CPD Director of Natural Resources, will discuss the installation of a plastic, 'split rail' fence on the west side of Montrose's Magic Hedge. 

June 11th - Margate

  • A discussion on the history of LPAC and how LPAC has worked with the Park District on park improvements.  We'll also discuss how we've partnered with other organizations within Lincoln Park to achieve common goals.

Lincoln Park Advisory Council meetings are open to everyone. Membership is encouraged (and required to cast a vote) but not necessary.  Meetings are generally held the second Wednesday of the month except August and December. The location alternates between the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum and the Margate Fieldhouse.

All meetings start at 6:45pm unless otherwise noted.

 

Margate Fieldhouse - 4921 N. Marine Drive, Chicago, 60640 (Between Lawrence and Foster)   Parking is available in a lot on the east side of the building. CTA bus # 146 stops in front of the fieldhouse.

 

Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum - 2430 N. Cannon Drive (at Fullerton), Chicago, 60640 Street parking is usually available on Cannon Drive. CTA bus #151 runs along nearby Stockton Drive.
